“NeatSuite for SMB is the only integrated anti-spam and anti-virus solution in the market place that spans protection across multiple layers &#151 and that scans across all major protocols at the gateway, including the Web (HTTP), e-mail (SMTP, POP3), and FTP protocols for small and medium businesses,” says Venkat.

The program works with a variety of Windows client and server operating systems including Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft SMB Server.

One-Box Protection
Typically customers would have to get this level of protection from several different applications.

Neat Suite for SMB combines Trend Micro’s Client-Server Messaging for SMB and InterScan VirusWall for SMB into one easy-to-install package.

“You install Neat Suite SMB in two places,” says Verkat. “One two-minute install at the gateway and another inside the network. Installation wizards guide you through the simple process. We designed the program for easy installation and use. You don’t need an IT person to set it up.”

Pricing and Availability
You can buy NeatSuite for SMB starting September 9th. Trend Micros sells 100 percent of its products through the channel, so you’ll find it at VARs and resellers such as Ingram Micro and CDW.

The company uses a perpetual licensing structure. When you buy the product, you own it &#151 no tracking expiration dates or paying renewal fees. The only annual fee is for maintenance, which updates virus pattern files.

Trend Micro bases it’s pricing on the number of people using the program.
