Developing new products for a small business takes cash, and that’s not always easy to find these days. Fortunately Andrew Lock knows a couple of online resources that could help foot the bill.

Other topics in this week’s episode include a compelling demonstration on why spelling and grammar matter and a great marketing lesson from eBags.com that you can incorporate into your own business. Click on the Help, My Business Sucks logo below to watch the video.

I don’t obsess about spelling in my business generally, but when it comes to signage and marketing, it DOES matter, greatly. I’ll show you some crazy business signs that are quite unbelievable.

Do you need to raise money to support your business? As long as you’re qualified, you can get a loan from a variety of sources online. I’ll show you some popular ones.

When I travel, it’s common for me not to receive a booked wake up call, so I’ve taken to using the free service called WakerUpper.com – it’s great!

Finally, our BIG marketing lesson is from eBags.com. They have a clever system in place to know when a customer adds products to their cart but doesn’t checkout. The key is to know how to follow up with customers in that kind of situation, whether their business is offline or online.

As usual, let me know your opinion about the topics covered in the show to help your small business this week — leave your comment below, it’s really easy to do, no registration required.
