Marketing Tips: The Benefits of Targeted Ads

I’m so glad that I left the corporate world many years ago. I really didn’t fit in, and it took me too long to discover that. This week I’ll show you some creative ways that cubicle dwellers are spending their time to welcome co-workers back from vacation.

Two MIT students have also been creative with $150.  They hooked together a camera, GPS cell phone, beer cooler and a weather balloon, to take some astonishing photos of space!  If they can accomplish that with $150 think what YOU can do with a little money and a lot of creativity in your business.

99Designs.com has been one of the most popular Nifty Click recommendations that I’ve made, so I wanted to tell you about a similar service, Hatchwise.com.  It works in a similar way, and I’m impressed, so I encourage you to check it out.

If you fly regularly you’ve probably seen the ad for the ROM fitness machine that appears in many high-end magazines. It costs a whopping $14,615 but the ads are obviously successful based on the fact that they’ve been running for years.  There’s a key reason why.  I’ll explain it during this episode’s Big Lessons from Big Brands segment.
