DYMO Corporation, a leader in labeling and identification products, announced that it has recently released Address Fixer, a free address correction software utility.

Address Fixer is designed to automatically check any US address against the USPS master database. Mistakes are automatically corrected, the ZIP+4 is added, and formatting is adjusted to Post Office standards, helping to speed mail delivery and eliminate returned mail.

Address Fixer works as a stand-alone Windows utility, or directly within Microsoft Word and the Palm Desktop 4.0 software. It can also be used with DYMO label software for DYMO LabelWriter label printers.

“Improperly addressed envelopes and packages are a leading cause of delayed and misrouted post, costing individuals and small business headaches and lost revenue” says Andrew Newmark, Executive Vice President of DYMO. ” The Address Fixer software makes sure that never happens by checking any US address against a certified US postal service database before it ever leaves your control, and best of all, its free!”

According to the company, to date, Address Fixer has corrected over 85,000 addresses in just 60 days, helping over 5,000 users with their address correction needs. The address correction software utility is available free from the DYMO website at www.dymo.com/addressfixer.
