PayMaxx, Inc. (www.paymaxx.com), a provider of payroll processing, recently introduced XpressTime, the company’s new Web-based time and attendance solution. With XpressTime, employers with 1-10,000 employees may be able to collect and analyze time and attendance data and import the results into their payroll systems.

According to the company, the system offers the following features:

Data Capture:
XpressTime gives employers the option of allowing employees to clock in/out via a Web browser or electronic card reader/time clock. And, with the ASP version of XpressTime, there is no software to purchase or install.

Rule Setting:
XpressTime gives employers the option of setting rules based on company policies. These include company holidays, time rounding, overtime pay, and user security. Additionally, flags can be set to catch erroneous punches, overtime or any other exceptions. Settings such as time zones, work site/employee login, file format for reports, and acceptable IP addresses can also be customized.

Reporting:
XpressTime provides employers with the tools to manage and maintain employee and time records. Users can create reports that allow them to monitor their employees time and identify inaccuracies. Reports include Missing Punch, Missing Employee and Locations, Attendance Report, Punch Hours, and Audit Report (which audits all punches altered or added by a manager/supervisor).

Data Export:
Additionally, with XpressTime, employers can export their time and attendance data in a format that can be imported into PayMaxx’s payroll systems or other payroll systems. PayMaxx also provides electronic timesheets, which allows businesses to create customized templates to manually key time for field personnel in addition to options outside of punches, such as bonuses, commissions, etc.

XpressTime offers several security features including password protection, data encryption, firewalls and automatic input confirmation. Additionally, PayMaxx ensures round-the-clock system connectivity.

Pricing:
XpressTime is priced at $2.00 per employee per month on the ASP model. Physical clocks, if required, are extra. PayMaxx says that it is waiving installation and training fees for the remainder of 2002.
