Palo Alto Software launched www.mplans.com, a website that is designed to provide small businesses with resources to help them create marketing and advertising plans.

According to the company, the Mplans.com website is a logical offshoot of Palo Alto Software’s www.bplans.com business planning site. While Bplans.com is designed to support the planning needs of a myriad of industries, providing resources, reports, information, and software, Mplans.com, on the other hand, focuses on marketing planning.

The Mplans.com website includes a variety of resources to help marketing and communications specialists develop complete marketing and media plans, including:

– 30 sample marketing plans for a variety of industries.
– Marketing and advertising planning software.
– Articles relating to commonly asked marketing questions.
– An online edition of “On Target: The Book on Marketing Plans.”
