Belkin introduced its Hi-Speed Universal Serial Bus (USB) 2.0 Upgrade Kit (F5U900 — ESP $79.95) that lets users connect to new hi-speed and older low-speed USB devices. According to the company, the kit includes everything users need to upgrade their desktop computers to the fast speed of USB 2.0 – 480Mbps.

Included in the kit are the Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Dual-Port PCI Card (F5U219), the Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 4-Port Hub (F5U224), and the Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Gold Series Device Cable (F3U133-06-GLD).

The kit may be ideal for upgrading PCs that need to transfer large amounts of data such as real-time video cameras, scanners, portable drives, and others. The company says that its Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Upgrade Kit lets users take advantage of their USB 2.0-enabled devices without delay, and it’s backward-compatible with the USB 1.1 specification.
