PCmag@Work (Small Business): Salesforce Unveils Chatter Private Beta

So far it’s just a private beta trial involving 100 companies, but SF.com’s Chatter will eventually bring Facebook and Twitter-type capabilities to businesses running the company’s cloud computing apps.

“Salesforce.com has launched a private beta test of Chatter, which brings Facebook and Twitter-type capabilities to businesses running Force.com cloud computing apps.

The program encompasses 100 companies across financial, manufacturing, high tech, and professional services industries, InformationWeek reports. The list of companies features some heavyweights, including TransUnion and the Schumacher Group.”
