PCWorld: New Spring Line-up Of Smartphones From AT&T

Apple’s iPhone is clearly AT&T’s numero uno but here it introduces new smartphone models from Palm (two), Motorola and, perhaps most significantly, Dell. This is the first smartphone designed by Dell.

“Although the iPhone has been a smash hit for AT&T, the carrier is out to show this spring that it isn’t a one-trick pony. Over the past few weeks, AT&T has announced that its network will support several new high-profile smartphones, including its first smartphones based on the Android operating system. In this slideshow we’ll break down the top new AT&T devices and look at their prices, operating systems, processing power and more.

The big news here is that AT&T will get the first smartphone developed by Dell to be released in the United States. The Aero is basically a variation on the Dell Mini 3 already released in China. It is a touchscreen phone that features both 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity as well as a 3.5-inch display screen and a 5 MP camera. The phone does not have an official release date and its price and interior specs are so far unknown.”
