“If you’ve ever had to take an online training program, you might have done it with a service like GoToMeeting where you could follow along with an instructor and presentation slides. Citrix Online, the company behind the GoTo line of services, recognized something missing in that very segment and that’s why they launched GoToTraining this week.

While very similar to GoToMeeting, in that you use it to go online and follow instructions via PowerPoint, GoToTraining is purposely built for trainers and the training industry with extras that are suitable for classes that can take place anywhere. That includes tools for scheduling, a content library space for class handout files, testing of students on course materials, evaluation of the session experience, and reports on all the info above. If you know some students can’t make it, the session can be recorded for later playback, but Citrix stresses that this is best for real-time instruction.”
