PC Magazine: Flowr – Twitter For The Business Set

Flowr has Twitter-like features but it’s designed for business, allowing users to post ideas and questions, collaborate on documents and create private spaces.

“Flowr’s micro-blogging service offers Twitter-like features geared specifically for businesses. In addition to status updates, Flowr can create posts for ideas, questions, events, to-do list items, and polls. You can also post documents that co-workers can collaborate on through the service. Each of these post types can be seen all at once in the main My Flow screen, or in their separate sections.

Flowr lets you communicate with colleagues by creating public or private groups. It includes a searchable directory of everyone in the organization which you can sort by different fields. The service has an iPhone app to check Flowr updates on the go, a bookmarklet for saving to the cloud, and the ability to post updates via e-mail. The free version of Flowr supports up to 10 users and two groups, and the company is currently rolling out a premium version with more features priced on a per-user basis.”
