Coming Soon: Google Buzz for Work

Feb 10, 2010

PCmag@Work (Small Business): Coming Soon: Google Buzz for Work

“The big news today is the unveiling of Google Buzz, the search company’s attempt to take back a little of that sweet, sweet social networking that Facebook and Twitter seem to own. It crams all sorts of social tools into Gmail. And since Gmail is also a big part of the Google Apps suite, it’s not surprising that Google Buzz will also be coming to businesses and schools.

At the launch, Google spokesman said that internal testing of Buzz has changed the way they communicate at Google. Now, they might have said the same thing about Google Wave and that’s not burning up the Internet with its popularity at home or the office; but tying this into just about every social networking site and tool you can imagine has some serious promise.”
