Small Business Labs: A Small Business Case Study In Cloud Computing

The blogger can use Evernote everywhere he goes on whatever device he’s working on because his data is all stored in the cloud. The best part is that application is free.

“Evernote is a great example of how cloud computing is enabling distributed and mobile work. For those not familiar with Evernote, it’s an online service that allows users to record and store pretty much anything digital as “notes.”

Because these notes are stored in the cloud, you can access them anywhere from pretty much any computing device.

I use Evernote almost every day. A big part of my job is reading and reviewing a wide range of online information. I use Evernote to store, organize, access, annotate and share news stories, studies, videos and other sources of data and information. Basically, it’s my research database.”
