BlackBerry, primarily considered n enterprise-level mobile device, is making inroads into the SMB market. ALT-N (a subsidiary of RIM) is helping in that effort with the MDaemon Messaging Server. It’s aimed at small business and priced affordably (starting at $380 for a six-user license).

ALT-N Technologies is rolling out a new version of the Windows-based MDaemon messaging server aimed at making it easier for small businesses to provide their employees with secure access to email, calendar and contacts on-the-go through the desktop, the web and BlackBerry smartphones.
