Social networking sites continue to grow in popularity and the number of people who use them increase daily. Facebook claims over 500 million users; online blogs peg registered Twitter users at the near 200 million mark, and YouTube adds another 488 million people to the social pool.

Small business ecommerce site owners see the potential value in this; after all you can simply create a free account and start interacting with your customers and potential clients.
