Like Apple and Google before it, Microsoft is now the focus of a privacy debate, and it’s facing questions about whether and how it uses data collected from its customers Windows phones. Through a blog posting, the company, addressed the issue saying that it won’t send personally identifiable information about its customers mobile devices to location services. Many mobile device users find location services to be an invaluable service provided through their phones. However, many of those same users get riled up when they suspect that their service providers are also using that information to track their movements.
