Microsoft Promises Faster Update Cycle for CRM

If you are a Microsoft Dynamics CRM customer, it used to be you'd get a major version upgrade every three years. All that changes come this fall when Microsoft plans to switch to a more frequent twice-a-year update schedule.

The software giant said that this schedule change will include Dynamics CRM software that it hosts, online versions hosted by Microsoft partners host and versions that companies run on-premises. You'll find the details on this CRM software update chance on our sister site, eCRM Guide.

Microsoft released a new roadmap for its customer relationship management (CRM) products this week that will ultimately lead to much more frequent updates.
