Connected Corporation, a provider of PC data protection and management solutions, introduced its Connected TLM Small Business Service, a customized version of the company’s Connected TLM software that is designed to provide small businesses with enterprise-class data protection with easy configuration.
According to the company, the Connected TLM Small Business Service contains Connected’s Backup/Retrieve, Heal and iRoam modules that offers comprehensive data protection, and anytime, anywhere restoration and recovery.
Connected says that its TLM Small Business Service includes:
– Backup/Retrieve — Files and applications on individual PCs, from Word documents and Excel spreadsheets to custom wallpaper settings, are automatically backed-up. The system minimizes, then transmits and stores the data on a central server. Then, drawing on the most recent data capture, all PC data can be completely restored via the retrieve functionality. The service uses technology that only backs up the changed portion of each file, and only sends files that the system has never before encountered, which may reduce the session time on even a dial-up line to just minutes.
– Heal — Automated, online PC self-healing should eliminate application, registry and system configuration problems due to viruses, file or application corruption and even user error, in real-time.
– iRoam — With iRoam, users should be able to access their PC data anywhere, anytime via any Web browser, even if they don’t have their PCs. A user can log on to the secure Connected site and access all the files that have been captured from their PC.
– Support Center — The Web-based Support Center should let small businesses handle all technical administration online. Via the Support Center, administrators can update and view PC account usage, history and configuration.
