Apple Shipping New Mac Pro and Xserve Server

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Apple (AAPL.O: Quote, Profile, Research) said it will begin shipping on Tuesday its new Mac Pro workstation and its Xserve server, which the company said is up to twice as fast as its predecessor.


The standard Mac Pro carries a suggested price of $2,799 while the standard Xserve model is priced at $2,999.
