Concentric Adds SMB Web Site Packages to Host of Services

Concentric, a nationwide Internet Service Provider (ISP) known for hosting Web sites and e-mail services has added professional Web site packages to its roster of small-business offerings. The company aims to help small businesses that lack the skill, time or money to host, design, maintain and market their own Web site.

Bill Uyeki, a Concentric senior production line manager, believes this suite of packages will provide one central location for small businesses to either get online or improve their current Web presence.

“So many small businesses lack a Web presence and others lack the technical expertise to build or improve upon their Web site,” he said. “They’re often intimidated by the technology barrier, so it makes perfect sense to outsource the whole process.”

An additional benefit, according to the company, is that small business owners don’t have to look for multiple vendors or resources to get the job done. “Our turnkey services are designed for SMBs who need hosting and design or maintenance for their existing Web site. With these packages we take the hassle out of creating and maintaining a Web site,” Barbara Branaman, president of Concentric, said in a written statement.

Uyeki said that Concentric’s professional Web packages can provide small business sties with a range of technical capability including Web 2.0, e-commerce, intranets, blogs, customer portals/extranets and Content Management System (CMS).

The design and migration packages also offer search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) capability – something that most SMB Web sites need, but too few business owners have the time or understanding to implement. “Providing these features and services allows small business owners to focus on what they do best – run their business,” said Uyeki.

• Sold in four-hour increments; eight-hour minimum and 12-month term required
