Do You Use Small Business Mobile Apps?

If you go by what you see on TV and the Web, everybody's gone app happy; after all, we all know "there's an app for that." But a recent study shows that the majority of adults don’t use apps that are already installed on their mobile phones, much less buying more.

Granted, the app phenomenon is only two years old, and it's not going anywhere any time soon, but we're wondering how many small business owners and their employees use apps on a regular basis at work. New and more compelling mobile applications are driving the ravenous demand for new smartphones but most mobile phone users aren't even using the apps they already have.

That's the scoop from a new Pew Research Center study, titled "The Rise of Apps Culture," which found that 11 percent of adult mobile phone owners aren't even sure if they have applications embedded in their mobile devices.
