PC Mag reports on a Web demo of the new version of Avaya's IP Office product: lower prices, easier set-up for very small operations and more.
"IP Office 6.0 has been developed for easier deployment and management for SMBs; particularly for those with less than 20 employees. Avaya has reduced price points on packages; the Essential Edition lists from $50 to $795.
Features include the enhanced one-X portal for IP office; a browser-based phone management system that allows users to manage their Avaya IP desktop phones. With the portal, users get IM, audio conferencing and videophone capabilities."
